So I go online to read about this new monster and could not find any thing about the on board vocal harmonizer. So I assume there is none which is probably one of the reasons there is no EC5 input for an on/off pedal. Also notice the manual does not have a list of the styles similar to the old PA4 manual. Am I wrong or reading in the wrong spot of the new operators manual? Thanks

It definitely has a vocal harmonizer. Two ex-execs from TC-Helicon created the new generation for the Pa5x. The EC5 input is missing from the keyboard, however. 1/2 isn't bad. _________________ Pa5x, Yamaha Genos, ForeScore |

Harmoniser controls are there in the strip display (slider mode)
EC5 is dead and it is expected (as in "prayed for") that Korg will introduce a USB solution...
It is in its infancy now....

First, thanks for all the responses. Second as I have aged I know I've lost some of my sharpness, especially my eyes. So I had my wife who's eyes are very small (Korean) but extremely powerful take a look and she could not find anywhere on the front of the keyboard, "Harmonizer"
You would think that after taking five years to develop this new product, they would have put a little more thought into things like EC5, Harmonizer and the many other issues others on the forum have discussed. I'd have to wait quite awhile to purchase one of these. Remember, the PA4 had to have 3-4 new OS. The 5X will probably need more. Then I may purchase.
Thanks for letting me jabber.
