Hi -
Situation:
I just got a Nautilus and I'm going on tour with it.
I would like to bring my M3 "brain" as supplement + I use the 8 buttons a lot to create bigger sounds when my right hand is occupied playing a riff etc AND love the M3 X-Y mode for filters...
Problem:
I found that when I loop the two....
Nautilus OUT > M3 IN
M3 OUT > Nautilus IN
I get weird problems. The Nautilus freezes on and off.
Resets sounds etc. The M3 works fine!
Is that a standard problem when "looping" two synths like this??
Do I need to switch off something in the M3?
I also use the "Scenes" mode in the ARP to create sub-scenes in stead of switching to a new sound.
That also doesn't translate to the M3 (which just plays all sounds, and only when I set it on ch01 or Gch on the M3 - NOT on channel 2 & 3 & 4 as I set it up in the scenes on the Nautilus)
I actually only need the M3 to play the channels I send from Nautilus AND send the touch-pad-messages back to Nautilus.
Anyone?? |

Yes, I don't have both keyboards though.
Only the brain from the M3 and the whole Nautilus.
So I'm physically playing on the nautilus keys, triggering both.
And physically using the 8 pads on the M3, triggering both.
+ using live knobs on both.
I’ve seen the same error message on several pics now, so I Hope KORG is doing something about it 😊 |

I'd turn off the Local on the Nautilus
If I am understanding what you are doing
using the M3 for sounds but controlling it via the Nautilus
you can do this vice versa such as turn the Local control on the M3 off
Should stop the synths from fighting for power
Switch off the Local on the Nautilus but
I have read something about having one synth set to odd notes and the other to even notes but this would be great if it was the same synth and not two different synthesizers. _________________ Korg Poly 800

I have both, M3 and Nautilus. I could reproduce the same situation so please tell me more about the M3 prog /combi vs Nautilus prog/combi, arp on/off, DT, M3 Karma etc. _________________ http://www.danstesco.ro |
