|
|
Hi,
I tried to setup a recording setup.
I got this issue with Ableton 11 as well as Cubase 10. I use ASIO4ALL as my driver and the Kronos connected via USB.
Everytime I try to record something out of my Kronos, everything is recorded into the DAW. Even the click track from within the DAW. It's hell of annoying, I got my Kronos for some time now and never was able to set it up proberbly.
I can't find anything about this topic on the web neither. So maybe you guys are my last resort.
Cheers |

In the Kronos Sequencer mode, Preferences tab, set the Metronome Bus(Output) Select to something other than L/R or L or R, to hear the click track on another output, or just set the Metronome Level to 0.

It is recording the Click / Metronome form inside the DAW. The DAW very owns.
Will give it a shot anyhow, cheers |

OK, if it's the DAW's metronome, my suggestion won't work. In Ableton, the Metronome can be turned on/off using the button near the top of the workscreen (the button with an open circle next to a filled circle). This button has drop down options in Ableton 11. There is also the Preview/Cue Volume control in the Master Track mixer (bottom left of the Master track area, just below the Solo button). Hopefully this helps to fix your problem.

It sounds like you are using the wrong INPUT for your DAW.
If you choose WHAT YOU HEAR as the input, then it records every sound Windows makes. You have to choose specific audio inputs for the track you are trying to record.
I have never tried to use Korg's USB input but I would imagine simply choosing that as your ONLY input will be helpful. I use a dedicated interface (with 18 ins) and have to specifically list the input I want to use on each track. _________________ Jon Solo
