|
|
I just bought the Volca Sample 2. I see, the USB connection doesn't work on Windows7 (= my laptop). But can I upload the samples from my PC through the audio cable (PC out to Sync in)? If yes, how does that work?
I downloaded Vosyr - but when I tried to transfer the wanted sample to Volca, I just heard that tranfer-modem-type-sound... but nothing happened in Volca. there's still the preset sound on Sample 0.
Any ideas? |

Are you sure there's any audio signal going into the sync input?
You should not be able to hear anything when you have the transfer cable properly connected, as the laptop speakers should be automatically disabled. |

Ok, so I checked again. This time I didn't get the sound, and the sample went to the Volca! I don't know what exactly I made differently this time - but probably there was a bad connection earlier. Also I got Err message often when I tried to transfer the sound via external soundcard. No errors from the direct laptop output.
Thanks!
Now it's the Vosyr a bit strange, as I cannot select the sample to remove it. I can only drag it to the different place, but not to remove. The trash bin icon is grey, cannot push :b |
