Can abyone tell me if the zipped EXs.tar folder can be deleted once you have unzipped & got the HD & PCM & exins? Not sure if the .tar folder is still needed on flash drive? I have kept all mine just incase and they are taking up space on flash drives.

Keep the downloaded original .zip files somewhere safe e.g. external hard drive. They can always be extracted again to create the install package. Just use the thumb drives for transferring the intallation files, and delete them after use. Keep copies of the registration keys in a text file somwhere safe, too. Preferably in the same directory as the .zip files.

Thanks, I do keep backups of the original files but also on my flash drives for when I need to load custom PCGs as sometimes the samples are not all on Kronos drive. As no room on Kronos for all my samples and I have many KApro now!
I just wonder when loading from flash drive, if I delete .tar, will the samples load OK just from the HD folder?

You must not manually unzip tar files !
For official library installation , just click on EXs_Installer.exsins file , press INSTALL and OS does the job the proper way.

After installation keep untouched the whole EXs folder you have downloaded in any storage HD/SSD of your computer ,
while you can anytime re-download installer from vendor.
