Hi
I could need some help with this! in Record mode, Edit style, I do octave transpose for ACC1, (+1) it seems to do the octave transpose for all variations. but not for acc1 in fills. Is there a way I can change this to the same as the variations? Like it is now fill will play acc1, 0 and variations +1. If I change Fill1, acc1 to +1, variations will play acc1 +2. Sounds not good. Anyone? Thanks!
Kind regards skude

Hi Skude

Just checked this and it works correctly on my PA4X - all ACC1 elements transposed.
What style were you editing?

I just went into STYLE EDIT
STYLE REC: MIXER/TUNING
Selected ACC1
Changed octave
Wrote my changes (WRITE STYLE)

Everything for ACC1 was transposed - all VARs and FILLs

Happy to help if you want to send me the style itself

Cheers

Pete Very Happy

P.S. are you at OS 3.1.0?

Thanks Pete!
This is a 3rd party style, and I think it’s just made this way. It seems to me that the chord played in Fill is played in a lower octave on the piano than in the variations. I’m not sure if this make any sense since editing is not my strongest part. But doing octave transpose in the variations will also do it for the fills, so the KB is doing what it suppose to do. But fills just sounded so muddy. BTW I’m using the latest OS. Now I just turn down the volume on ACC1 in fills, not a very big problem. But, is there a way to set different ACC’s octave transpose in each variations or will an octave transpose set for (I.E. ACC1) always apply for all ACC1 in Var. and Fills?
Thanks!
Kind regards
skude

Hi.

There is one place on the Korg more that can affect this.

Go to the Style Record > Element Track Controls > Range page.
Use the Top and Bottom parameters to set the bottom and top limit of the
keyboard range for the corresponding track of the selected Style Element.
While recording, the Keyboard Range is ignored. It will be used when playing
back the Style.

Maybe it helps.
