As the title says, is it possible to create a style from wav samples? I know you can link wav files to pads, but can you link them to the style elements?
Thanks in advance...

Depending on the actual size of the wav file it maybe possible.

Thanks for the quick reply!
It neatly leads me on to the next questions:

1. is it correct to assume a 5 minute long wav file is approx. 50Mb?

2. If a style is based on wav files, then there is a 600Mb limit for the style?

3. how fast can a style (+pads etc.) based on 100Mb wav files load from Direct Access (from the internal MicroSD - 285MB/s read speed!) i.e. pressing a song name in a setlist that loads the new style - if this is possible?

Thanks in advance...

All Samples have to be loaded into memory first, unfortunately user samples are not available via direct folder (access).

You can not "link" wav-files to pads or styles. You only can use wav-formatted sounds after converted them to pcm-samples.

Each creation of Pa-arrangers sounds finally use pcm samples that must reside in internal memory of the Pa-keyboard.

That also applies to audio-loops time sliced for styles of Korgs Pa-Keyboards.
*
If you record a sound or audio groove then PCM-sampling will happen at 16 bit, 48 kHz. When finishing sampling your sound, you can write it to the internal memory to become part of an ordinary sound, written and added to a multisample (as described in manual).

If it is an Audio Groove editing it with the Time Slice function also ends with PCM-sampling into internal memory.

ritesh.dere123--HELLO FRIEND thanks for your answer --maybe you can tell me something more definite about it--I've never done a sample on the same korg pa 1000 keyboard, I have no experience in that. I appreciate if you tell me more about it --thank you -and have a nice day --
