Monologue Program/Value does not work for some edit cases

Post by stormwalk »

Monologue number buttons + Program/Value combination does not work for some edit cases
Specifically:
Motion Enable
Motion Smooth

Example:
1. Select Init program
2. Go to Seq Edit menu
3. Select any of the Motion Smooth/Motion Clear menus
4. Neither pressing the corresponding button (11 or 12), nor turning Program/Value knob lets to enable motion, display looks like following:
[MOTION ENABLE]
1:-----
2:-----
etc

Another case is for User Scale and User Octave: after pressing button 10 (scale), scale number shown changes, but after circling to previously changed value, it is not stored.

I have the last firmware, 2.0. My unit fell once from about 80 cm height, but I've been using it since that for about a year and never noticed any malfunctioning except aforementioned ones.

P.S. This is my first post here, nice to meet you all!

Before these settings do anything, you first need to record a motion.

Make sure that you're not in EDIT mode (press EXIT if necessary).

Set the NOTE/SLIDE/MOTION switch to MOTION, then press the PLAY and then the REC button. Turn a dial like for instance CUTOFF. You've now recorded a CUTOFF motion.

If you now go to EDIT->SEQ, you can use the smooth/no-smooth program setting.

I recommend reading the manual for more details and options.
