Hi KROME fans,

I don't know if anyone here was trying to create his own drum tracks before...

After several attempts to even follow a single example from the user manual
I can't get any further. The manual offers only fragmentally infos there.

You surely know the song "Sympathy For The Devil" by the Rolling Stones...
The beginning of the song starts with 2 congas, played latin-like.

On the drum tracks in KROME there is a preset P045: Pop Hits 2 [All] on A017: Jazz Dry/Ambiennce Kit.
It has a drum track that pretty much plays those congas the way they do on "Sympathy..."

I only need the looped congas track from the entire drum track, (after all, we have our drummer), not the drums around.

Does anyone here know

- is this is feasible?
- how?

Thanx a lot ahead

I surely do not know that song by the Rolling Stones; however, you could try this method to modify the keyboard zone in the drum program (or a copy of it) so that only the notes for the conga are played:

Bpoodoo have right.

If work in combi, limit the key range of drum program to have only the conga.
For example the conga sound on C#5. Move the bottom Key and Top key to C#5 so only the C#5 will play.
Other way, import that DT in the SEQ Pattern, erase other sound to keep only the conga and save as User DT pattern.
