For the last few days I've been trying to use this stupid thing again after a long time. Ultimately, I wanted to preview some new patches I found (.prg files), but when I loaded them up in the editor they would just come up as default/init. In the days I've been trying to get that to work, I have always been able to load up the .set backup file I created (when I first started out the other day) and get all my sounds back. Of course, once I was able to get the editor to work with previewing the .prg files, when I try to reload my old sounds back, they all come up as init sounds on my MK!

What I think was the trick to getting that functionality to work in the editor for me was to do a factory reset (which was suggested by a lot of resources I found out there for editor issues). I can use MidiOx to load up a set of third party patches I downloaded with no problem. And as far as I can see, my backup/.set file hasn't been altered since I originally created it a few days ago.

If anyone can help me out here I'd greatly appreciate it. I just don't understand why that backup file was working fine, but not now. Thanks.
