Losing all the date on the storage card.
Its the 61 key version of the Krome I bought in 2014.
I have TONS of songs (sequencer songs) saved on the removable card. TONS. How can i back these songs up so if ever the removable card becomes corrupted, I have them elsewhere?
Any ideas? |

Making regular backups s a good habit to get into. Use a USB memory card reader, connected to PC/Mac, and make a backup copy of the files.

Thanks. Do you have a particular card reader brand in mind? |

Just about any "multi-card" capable readers would do the job. My personal preference wouold be one that is on the end of a USB cable so it is easier to insert/remove the memory card, and doesn't get in the way of the adjacent USB ports. The reader I use is no longer sold. There is a 7 in 1 reader with brand name Zedela that I might buy, if I needed a replacement. Search on Amazon for "memory card reader Zedela". It should be the first item that comes up. I use mine to back up keyboard data, and also camera data. The memory card appears as an extra drive in Windows Explorer.
The only thing to remember with any these readers is to make sure any copying or writing of data is allowed to finish before removing the card, to avoid corruption, otherwise you could lose it all. Usually there is a "disk activity" LED on the reader, that flashes when data are being transferred. On PCs, there's a memory eject function available in the system tray at the bottom right of the screen, which appears when a card reader with card present is plugged in. This allows for an orderly completion of read/write operations.
