Just changed the battery on my Korg x3 synth in the hope no output at the left and right audio and headphone socket may be resolved. reloaded sounds again all to no avail.
I have checked volume slider and all output parameters are turned on, nothing has been changed since it was last ok 2 months ago, any thoughts please?
thanks in advance. |

Could simply be a dry or cracked solder joint.
If you have a soldering iron, it would be worth the effort to re-flow the solder at the headphone connector.
I'd also examine where it conects back to a circut board to make sure the connector is sitting into it's socket correctly.

I have the same issue, got an X3 not working, replaced battery and reinstalled banks from card. All banks show fine everything seemed fine but no sound. Then very faint sounds but plenty of noise. Found service manual online and could see diagram so replaced volume slider and checked all connectors. Not really any better. Then left it for a few weeks, sound is now little louder! Still noise but can play different patch and hear difference. I noticed separate power feed to audio board so checked all psu's out with volt meter and all good. There is another post I did see where it's another X3 same issue. |
