I do not like weighted keys on an electronic keyboard. Semi-weighted is awesome, for me anyway. Is the LS super light? How would it compare to the 61 key version of the original Kronos? Have you tried the LS? How did you like it?
Also, I wonder if there is a 73 key version. I find 73 or 76 to be a good size in a controller for my needs. I play a lot of left hand bass lines with harmony and leads, and 61 can be a little short.
Thanks so much to anyone who chimes in. I really appreciate the thoughts I read at this forum. _________________ "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals." ~Mahatma Gandhi |

Actually, reading the below ad copy, I think this would be perfect for me! I'm interested to hear what you guys say, but I'm at least glad that popular demand caused Korg to release the Kronos in a semi weighted action version.
Korg's all-new light-touch keyboard makes it easy to play anything from rapid organ licks to synth phrases to glissandi. The mechanism of the keyboard itself has been redesigned so that the velocity is easier to control than on existing light-touch keyboards, even when playing complex chords or difficult phrases. The box-shaped keys share their look with Korg's premium RH3 action, while providing the faster playing feel of a synth keyboard. Since the keyboard is semi-weighted, it’s also perfect for playing piano and electric piano in any style. _________________ "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals." ~Mahatma Gandhi |
