I have aKorg MS2000b WHICH I HAVEN'T USE IT for than 8 years.This morning I powered it on with a 15v.It turn on.I turned it off.And after one hour I turn it on again and the screen is backlighting and no red light appears (bank check). |

Hi,
What do you mean with: "15v"?
So it worked the first time and second time it wqs broken?

15Volt?
Is that the power supply adapter that was delivered with the synth and that you used before for it?
Because according to the manual, you should only use 9V. So something may be fried inside...
If you are lucky maybe only the regulators are damaged and not the main cpu or dsp.
But then again, it could be that something else went wrong as well apart from a much too high rating of the PSU. It was stowed away for so long. Leaky capacitors, ... _________________ microKORGXL, Kaossilator Pro, monotribe, SQ-1, volca fm, Kross 88 BK
