|
|
What is required to import a song created on the P9000 into Garageband so it can be used as a starting point for editing adding tracks etc
I am able to import the song file made with Quick Record and play it back in GB but i am unable to change instrument assignment, volume and balance.
I have tryed on my desktop and iPad with pretty much the same result.
Any advice would be helpful. I am not even sure if it possible to do this.
Thanks Jim [/u] _________________ JimB |

If the song is in midi file form open it up in sequencer mode, Quick record. From there you should be able to quickly change instruments and then re save. Also can move midi song to different saving locations and or rename etc.
I use this method in my PA3Xle. There are also ways to make more fine point adjustments in different record modes if wished. overdub, event editing etc. all in the instrument. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=807494

Thanks for the tips.
I was hoping that since I have the song roughed out in midi format I would be able to transfer to some sort of daw software that would allow the use of midi edit tools.
I find that the step sequence programming on pa 900 very tedious. _________________ JimB |
