Does anybody know if EM-1 and ER-1 (first edition) can use the MIDI Out and THRU at the same time?
I would love to daisy chain the Electribes with my sampler last in chain sending clock from an USAMO in Ableton and then be able to decide whether to send MIDI Data from Ableton or whether to use the Electribe for sequencing the sampler.
The sampler (AKAI) only has 1 MIDI In, so it would only be possible this way. |

Of course they can. Port Out sends data from internal MIDI processor of machine, port Thru is harwired to In, i guess. So it's just copy incoming data without any change and with minimal latency. _________________ Digitakt, ER-1, Volca Beats + Bass + Modular, Neutron, k-2, Microfreak, Liven XFM, Beatstep Pro, Keystep, UC-33e, few FX (Zoom G1four, Razzor DD+DS, EHX Platform+HolyStain, Samson C.com), Mackie 1202 VLZ4, pair of RCF AyraPro6 |
