I heard that there will be an update, which will increase the user samples RAM size.

From what sources? A lot of speculation going round as to whether or not.

About time too, let’s hope it’s a major update not small but fixes. But will believe it when we finally see it.

In the Telegram app forum of Music Gear (the Lebanese Korg dealer). For more details, see: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=825549#825549

I’m sure many will wait with anticipation when it’s actually released into the real world.

I would imagine so, or there will be an outrage

It is logic to have such an update for the PA700 and Pa700 Oriental.
I hope that it will be released soon.

I do not believe this until i see it. Last update for PA1000/700 was in 2019. It would be very unusual to get such big update at this stage of the product lifecycle... Unless they are not planning to create PA5X generation midrange arrangers but just to update existing one(s). I read on this forum that HW wise PA5X is similar to PA700/1000, so in theory it makes sense, keep selling what you have and avoid spending money on R&D. That would be indeed a cheapest solution, make people happy with some extra memory for samples and keep squeezing the lemon to the last drop and sell the same old HW.

They did release an update for the Pa600 long after its release.
