Rookie here. Trying to connect jack output to S.M.S.L sp200 headphone amp via stereo cables. Not receiving any sound.

What am I doing wrong?

Sincerely
Jacob

I guess my first question would be, are you using headphones? If so, just plug them into the SV2 directly. The SV2 has a jack for that on the unit.

I am not sure why you would have a headphone amp anyway. If you must use the headphone amp, then take the XLR outputs from the SV2 and plug into the XLR inputs on the headphone amp. Then, plug your headphones into the unit. Make sure the unit is turned on, the toggle switch is set to XLR and the Gain toggle switch is set to where you do not hear distortion. The same would apply if wanting to go into the RCA jacks input on the headphone amp. You will need a dual 1/4" to RCA cable to do this.

If you are using the headphone amp to go into a keyboard amplifier or something, your best bet is to just plug the unit directly into the keyboard amp itself without the headphone amp.

Please provide more information as to your application and cables that you currently have. My bet is that the headphone amp is just an extra piece that you really do not need, because the SV2 already has everything you need to hear yourself. Just plug in a pair of headphones into the SV2 and play away Smile

Grace,
Harry
