If I'm running the latest Kronos update, would I have some of these sounds already? How can I quickly tell if I have a sound library or not? _________________ KRONOS-88 Gold, MacBook Pro, Apollo Twin X , Luna, Logic Pro X, MainStage |

It's all great. But there are no free user banks in my Kronos for new Korg libraries. Few banks. |

Does anyone have KRS 02 and would care to offer an opinion? |

Shucks, I just bought two more libraries a week or two ago. At least, they were reasonably priced at the time. I may have to add a couple more with this discount. |

I would jump on any high level programing by Katsunori Ujiie
Few have tackled STR-1 and Mod-7 like he has.
You should find 5 or more Programs that are killer.
For example, I use the Roger Pick Bass in my originals. Nothing like it.
For example, its the bass guitar on my " Space On Earth "
Song #7 on my Playlist:

Cool, thanks for the recommendation Greg.
The Roger Bass in your track sounds ace! I was listening to Space on Earth on this new sound system I got. Man, that EP on that track really popped out and surprised me in a good way. Like it was coming from somewhere else entirely. Very cool!
These sound right up my alley then. I really enjoy dissecting sounds from master sound designers to figure out what makes them tick, and improve my own skill. Plus buying something Kronos related from Korg Inc feels right on the heels of asking them to give the Kronos some attention. |

Thank you ! My niece got a new Boise system is she is also in audio heaven.
You have a good ear, that earthy analogish EP sneaks around the corner at :54 , hiding behind the 12 string, then the EP goes solo at 1:06 . I like that 'bark ' tone. The FX make a difference.
I admire Korgs talent at sound design. The KRS 02 has been around for many years. There is very little info , such as Youtube etc on this KRS. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

Hey Greg I'm a bit confused. Does Katsunori Ujiie sell sound banks?
I couldn't find anything online.
Thanks,
Larry |

Hi Larry, I think Mr Ujiie worked for Korg, or did projects for them. Uber talented guy.
You should be able to find him on YouTube, as I recall he did product demos.
He is active on sound cloud. should be easy to contact. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

Yeah, thanks I have always loved his demos! He is a very talented player as well. I did find his website & translated it and it is wild. I bet I would have liked to have partied with him in my younger days |

Yep, KRS-02 is really cool so far. What I love about these synths like MOD-7 and STR-01 when they’re programmed well is the sheer timbral variety and amount of expression within a single patch from velocity, AT, vector joystick, etc. This bank is not disappointing me in that regard.
Also like how he managed to get some very warm analog like sound from MOD-7.
Are there other banks out there like this one, from Korg or the 3rd party designers that go deep on these synths? |
