I had Montage and Kronos 2 sure if you can afford both why not (modx +kronos)
Kronos can do anything you want if you know how ,Modx have more interesting synth sounds and those 10000 arpeggios if I was doing dance music Modx would be my favourite that is not to say that Kronos can't do it but yes they will compliment each other. |

Hello Liviou2004, recently I have created a new series of videos on Youtube with the name of Experimental, it is about fragments of songs with a maximum duration of one and a half minutes.
I am not a guitarist or saxophonist, but I like to have fun with my keyboard.
Below I share my first videos, certainly my keyboard is not a MODX, but it shares the same technology.
I hope this helps you make the best decision. regards

Thank you, Hans.
Indeed, it's not my initial point in this thread (concerning adding ModX to the Kronos). But it's cool to hear what you've done, and discovering your music. Thanks a lot. |

I own a Modx and just bought a Kronos 2, version 3.1.2. Something incredible happens when I connect Kronos midi out/Modx midi in for external control. After playing a few notes from the Kronos, the Modx notes get stuck as if the midi note off signal weren't sent properly. On the other hand all the rest of my keyboards (pa3x /psr) don't show that problem. I end up controlling the Modx by controlling my pa3x in midi Global mode (that means mirroring the pa3x keyboard, which controls the Modx, from the master kronos)
Before you decide to buy find out if this could happen to you. _________________ Korg kronos 2 - Korg Pa3x 61- Yamaha MODX61- Psr s970- Korg Tr- Ensoniq SQ1- Roland PK5 pedalboard- NanoKontrol -Yamaha Electone D85 |

I have K2 and Modx7. Do not buy Modx8, They have faulty keybeds. I never knew my keyboards well enough , I am lazy on tweaking sounds, I’m more like “out of the box” guy, I can tell you the acoustic guitars and the arpeggios are the real deal. The Kronos sounds like samples. Apart from that, is more capable. |

Hi Greg,
The download section of Yamaha website is not accessible for some weeks : https://shop.usa.yamaha.com/yamaha-musicsoft-update
Do you plan to buy it soon ? A second hand or a new one ? |

Hi Fred, as soon as possible. However, I need to sell my FA first.
I estimate end of Sept for the MODX8
I am open to a "B" stock from an authorized dealer, since it carries all the Yamaha warranties. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8
