I must have done something wrong during the regedit procedure, because it didn't change anything in terms of what slot a driver is in.
But the Kronos MIDI ports are now functional in Cubase so long as Cubase is the only app trying to use them.
I still can't sync Kronos to my audio interface, and the PS-1 still can't toggle Karma on/off.
I don't plan to try again on the driver issue until I buy a new computer, which will probably be a few years yet. My hope was to be able to use a multi-client virtual port to connect to the Kronos ports, but apparently that's not going to happen. And I've wasted far too much time dealing with this.
Thanks to all who chimed in. |

Hey @danatkorg, we'd love to hear you weigh in on this! Are we just dreaming that the Korg MIDI driver used to support multiple clients concurrently? Did something change? Was it Korg, or Windows, or both?
Is there any better information on understanding the peculiarities of the Korg driver, and the issues with Windows MIDI in general? _________________ Kronos2 73, Presonus StudioLive, Cakewalk / Sonar Platinum, Windows 10 |
