Is it worth buying the KORG branded damper pedal DS1H? Seems to be a bit more than a generic or even a Yamaha.

If you want to use half-pedaling technique with the Kronos stock grand pianos, that's the pedal you need. Hence the H in DS-1H. Cool

I have the DS-1H pedal. It is reasonably good but overpriced. A lightly used one would be ideal.

The Roland DP-10 is a good alternative pedal.

I went through a couple of DS-1H. They never lasted more than a year. I use them a lot and they did not work very long.
I then bought a WTB-005 sustain pedal for AUS$30 and they worked much longer and are just fine.

Korg DS-1H is totally overprized.

My DS-1H is 9 yrs old, going strong.

Home studio person here. So its not subjected to the rigors of gigs, moving around, etc.
