|
|
Hi guys
I have created another PA4X SET comprising the following styles "ready to play!!":-
All Korg i3 internal styles
All Korg i30 internal styles
The famous "48styles" from a while back
OK - firstly, the Korg i3 and i30 styles all load at 120bpm, mostly use GM/Legacy sounds and all style part volumes set to 100.
HOWEVER, I have changed all the BPMs to something reasonable and changed a few sounds and volumes.
All the i30 styles load with no FX so I changed them all to have a reverb to give them a bit more life.
All these styles have 4 STS the same (piano) so you'll need to load/choose your own STS sounds.
You will need to choose your preferred UPPER/LOWER sounds.
The "famous 48styles" appeared a while back - can't remember the history.
Anyhow - best way to preview these styles is to link the SET as DIRECT - there is a GLOBAL in the SET to enable you to see my FAVORITE bank names.
There are some fabulous styles here - enjoy!!!
Take care
Pete
PS - if you want to load them to internal banks, this SET will overwrite FAVORITE banks 01-04 and GLOBAL settings - ALWAYS backup (Save All) first

Thanks, Pete, great styles!
Necessity is the mother of invention, but I would dare say that COVID-19 Lockdowns are the mother of creation!

Thanks and again, my pleasure...
Don't underestimate these older styles - they were as good as today's ones.
The i3 "Blues" has 4-bar fills which synchronise wilth any 8/12/16 bar tune - if you press the FILL 1 first and then start the style you get a fabulous 4-bar INTRO (FILL 2 is as good.
Also the old i3 6/8 has some fascinating CVs like when you are playing diminished chords.
I was performing with a Yamaha PSR6700 when my local music shop called me and said "..we've just received the new Korg arranger - you have gotta hear it..bring your wallet..." - well he set it up and blasted me with the i3 "Big Band" style - had to buy it - nothing else like it... the rest is history....
There was an i2 video demo that the retailers had which was a demonstration of all the i2/i3 features and included a live performance by Stephen Kay (in Japan) - I believe Stephen designed some i3 styles.
Sorry - just waffling on...
Have fun guys
