Hello,
How do you remove the metal plate and keybed while connecting a right-angled SATA cable to the motherboard of a fully weighted Kronos2-88 having the RH3 action?
It is a very tricky process to install the second SSD. Is there a video tutorial demonstrating this?

I recently purchased a lightly used Kronos2-88 RH3 in excellent condition, which is my second Kronos2 in addition to my existing LS. I have ~50 sound libraries from the Korg website that I intend to install and use on this Kronos2-88. So I am going to purchase a 512 GB SSD and dual right-angled SATA cable.
The keyboard is out of warranty since 10 months. It was purchased in July 2018 by the original owner, but it is in excellent condition and looks like new. It was used lightly for less than 100 times by the original owner, who found it too sophisticated. The person never even connected it to a computer, so it still runs on OS version 3.1.1 !!!
On the Kronos LS, it is pretty straightforward to add an additional SSD, but I am unsure of how to reach the motherboard port on the Kronos2-88 RH3.

ok, some K2's and K1's qualified for 2 full years of warranty. If you acquired the purchase receipt from the original, that might eventually prove useful in determining 1 year or 2.
And if, by chance , its under the 2 year warranty, that is worth talking to your service center on what exactly do they state as far as valid warranty coverage.
The concern with all this, is If you have warranty, and your perform a DIY on your K2, you could lose a few months of possible warranty coverage.
So I was being very cautious on your behalf.
Lets say we are past all this and you are in DIY mode. You should follow KK's advice.
It is 100% true that Korg reduced the inside space of your K2.
I don't recall if there is an exact video. However there should be specific photos in a post topic. Sorry, I don't have it pinned.
I recommend you google search the forum [ if you haven't] and take the time to review the 20 or 30 topics on the 2nd SSD install challenge on K2.
There is a fair chance someone else will have something for you.
Give it 2-3 days for that. Sorry I am not more direct.
Lets see where the progress is in 3 days.
There is an excellent post by Martin Hines on RAM install on the K1 with numerous and clear photos. That would help , maybe half way, at best.

I have the original receipt for the Kronos2-88 RH3. The original owner did not register his purchase with Korg. The 1-year extension for the warranty is valid to purchases that are registered within 90 days from the date of purchase.
Going by that logic, the K2-88 is surely out of warranty. I am taking help from some users who have installed a second SSD in the K2-88 on Facebook.
I think that I should get the required help from there and the search you suggested.
Nonetheless, I got this K2-88 for 58% of the current market price. That is a very good deal in my opinion.
I had a discussion with a member from one of the Kronos groups on Facebook. He told me that it is possible to reach the motherboard port without having to lift the keybed. The trick is to keep the key corresponding to the port pressed while one attaches the SATA cable. That is what he did and it worked for him.
I presume that the only thing that would require to be removed is the metal plate/guard that blocks access to the motherboard port. Do you know how to stick that metal plate back once the SATA cable has been attached to the port?

I tried opening my Kronos2-88, which is currently out of warranty. The keybed needs to be lifted to access the SATA port on the 88-key version. I will have to take the Kronos2 to a Korg Service Center because am not confident to remove the keybed. I will have to wait till the COVID-19 crisis ends. Better safe than sorry!

And doesn't your factory SSD have adequate storage ?
a 64GB SSD is very large IMO. I am a 9 yr owner and my files and 3rd party samples total 40GB.
Its easy to save my files to USB.

I have over 50 EXs from the Korg web store that cannot fit on the factory SSD.
Removing the keybed is not that difficult but I do not want to take a risk as am not professionally trained and might mess up something or the other while fixing it back.
On another note, do you have a tutorial to remove the aftertouch connector. When I opened up the K2-88, I saw that ribbon, which was so delicate that it could easily break (so can the motherboard) with the weight of the keybed.
