|
|
I can already use EX2 to change the patch on my other keyboard. Does anyone know how to ONLY send patch changes and not keyboard note on/off?
Basically I have a combi with one of the channels set to EX2 which sends MSB, LSB, and program to my Roland FA. When I play the Kronos, the Roland sounds off no matter what I've tried. I would like to change the patch, but have the Kronos NOT send note on/off.
Ideas? _________________ "The truth is not what you want it to be; it is what it is. And you can bow to it's power, or live a lie" - Miyamoto Musashi

I hope I‘m getting this right. Are you using different midi channels? _________________ Korg Kronos X 88, Arturia Keylab 61 be, Arturia Keylab Essential 61, Roli Seaboard Rise 49, Roland V-Synth, MacBook Pro 15 inch 2016 (Logic Pro X, Mainstage, Ableton Live 10, miscellaneous plug-ins) |

Thanks for the reply.
Yes. On the combi in question, I'm sending the progran change on MIDI channel 2. Selecting that combi does change the patch on the FA, but when I play the Kronos (doesn't seem to matter which midi channel I'm on inside the combi) it plays the sound on the FA.
Basicslly stated, I want the patches on the FA to change when I cycle thru my setlist but otherwise function like 2 seperate keyboards. _________________ "The truth is not what you want it to be; it is what it is. And you can bow to it's power, or live a lie" - Miyamoto Musashi

Are you sure the FA is set to respond to channel 2 (and only channel 2, not omni)? _________________ Korg Kronos X 88, Arturia Keylab 61 be, Arturia Keylab Essential 61, Roli Seaboard Rise 49, Roland V-Synth, MacBook Pro 15 inch 2016 (Logic Pro X, Mainstage, Ableton Live 10, miscellaneous plug-ins) |
