See the explanation video of Korg about the firmware 2.0 update and new features.

Near the end, I noticed that he is shortening the sequence length by having empty steps in the end. On my side it always ends the full squence length with a silence. How does he do this?

Active step. Press shift and a step button, and that step is taken out of the sequence.

If you only press the step button, the step is muted, but stays in the sequence..
