Hello
Can anyone help me on connecting my accordion with MASTER midi to a Korg 05R/W Module.
I want to have electric bass and piano chords on left-hand, I want to use it for Irish and Scottish dance music.
I have the manual PDF format for model.
Thanks Frank |

If the accordion MIDI system has been set up to transmit on the "industry standard" MIDI channels, then it will be necessary on the 05R/W to find a suitable Combi, or create a new or modify an existing one, that has the desired bass, and piano sounds in separate timbre slots. Then use the menus on the 05R/W to assign MIDI channel 3 for the bass timbre, and channel 2 for the piano timbre. You might wish to assign strings to MIDI channel 1 so the treble keys activate those. If necessary, also set the Transpose for each timbre, so the notes played correspond to expectations. Connect the accordion MIDI out to the 05R/W MIDI in. The volume of each timbre can be controlled using the Level settings in the menus on the 05R/W.
