Hello everybody,

Did not find any answer in the user guide….

Is there any way to play homemade multisamples with the CX-3 engine ? So that you can use the sliders as 9 organ drawbars, but with your own sounds.

Or to convert multisamples in Exi ?

Thanks a lot

Hello,

No. You can use CX-3, sample it and play it in HD-1 but not the opposite.

Though, the only way to do what you want is to place your diifferent homemade organ samples in several HD-1 progs (for example one prog for 2', another one for 4', etc....), create a combi with these different HD-1 prog and use the volume sliders of each track of the combi as you would do in CX-3.

I was expecting this kind of reply.

Yes, the combi is the only solution for using drawbars.

Thanks for your help.

And technically speaking, they wouldn't be considered drawbars. You would have a layered Combi with the timbre volumes being controlled by the sliders.

Yes, that's what I said before !

The only diffrence with CX-3 drawbars will be the inverted sliders. In organs, we must go from up to down for increasing sound volume. In Combination, we must go from down to up.

Thanks
