The performance of the forum is not getting any better
When posting, it often takes more then a minute
And it seems to crash regu;arly?

Do we know why its so instable?
And what it requires to get better performance and stabillity?

I know its a private forum..
But maybe we can help out, making things better?

Ideally I would love to have direct access to a dedicated server that's setup for WebHosting with guaranteed connectivity, but that costs a lot of money every single year. Given I run this place totally non-profit and advertisement free, there is no money to pay for such nice things.

With that said I am super grateful that KORG USA does offer me the use of one of their servers. That does however comes with certain limitations. The server is not setup for WebHosting so my direct access is not what I would like it to be. I can't even upgrade the forum or install software without requiring KORG USA staff to do donkey work for me. Connectivity is also a balance of resources. Year on year we are getting bigger and bigger.

Always doing the best I can to keep us online while trying to stay true to what we stand for as a free and independent community.

Regards
Sharp.

Thank you Sharp!

I'm relatively new to Korg and this forum. But I greatly appreciate your efforts, and those of others who allow us to share thoughts, tips and ideas.

So thank you to all for making this a great forum, despite a few of its drawbacks
