Hey every one, I’m trying to find a way to optimize the playback of pre-recorded tracks that play on top of my band’s live playing. Ideally, I would love for one or more of the korg kronos sequencer tracks playing back to be sent to a specific audio out on the Korg (maybe even the headphones jack), say the click track, while other tracks get sent to an audio out that actually plays in our mix. Is this possible? I’m not finding a lot of documentation on this... if not possible, any alternate suggestions? Perhaps sending the click track as midi data to another piece of equipment? If so, what kind of equipment would be appropriate? Thanks so much for your attention!

Yes, it's possible to use out 1/2 3/4. You can't use the headphone for thin.

Parameter Guide 622 for Midi and 625 for audio.

I think that's enough documentation, or?

Thanks for the insanely quick response! I will look into this lead you just provided. I came across these very screens but had not caught on to how they could be used this way. Flipping through said pages in parameter guide right now. Thanks so much for the tip!

Just a minor thing...you can also send the tracks out to 1, 2, 3 or 4 individually as mono tracks, in addition to using the 1/2 and 3/4 outputs as pairs.

Right! That may come in handy. With all this new info, I’m currently evaluating cabling options to get the signal to my drummer’s earphones from the trs balanced audio outputs. Thanks again!

I send a click track only through 1/2 to the drummer and mix all the backing through the main Left and Right outputs. The click track goes to a little Behringer headphone amp in stereo. Works Vunderbar.
Keeping it simple... Very Happy

Right, sounds like a good approach. And I just ordered the behringer amp800 for earphone routing, the added benefit being that it seems to natively handle trs balanced signals, which are output by the Korg. Thanks for the input! This addresses a major issue for me!
