|
|
Hi, I've a Korg SV-1 and I want to trigger the una corda pedal.
The problem is that if I put a switch pedal in the slot 2 it behaves like a volume pedal (a volume pedal that has only two volumes levels: max and min).
My guess is that in order to use the una corda pedal I have to first insert a switch pedal in the slot number 1 for the sostenuto pedal and then insert another pedal in the slot number 2.
Do anyone have any experience with this? I don't want to buy another pedal in order to find out that it doesn't work like that.
Thank you. |

The user manual details pedal calibration on page31. The pedal inputs received by the SV-1 for pedal 2, during calibration, allows the SV-1 to determine which type of pedal is in use, and applies that accordingly. It's likely that the Pedal 2 input is presently calibrated for expression pedal, hence the observed behaviour. If the pedal type is changed, calibration needs to be repeated.
