Hey guys I have the kp3+ I want to use the 4 sample bank buttons as midi control notes for my daw outside of external mode. I just want to keep using the fx but also have those 4 buttons as transport controls for my daw at the same time, is this possible??

Hi Keynote.
I dont think so from memory. The fx switch off in external mode.
Some sequencers allow midi notes to stop and start ,but not many.
That could be useful without using ext mode, if possible.
