Not really Kronos related, but this is about potentially, your money.

Some small on line outfit, arbitrarily charged my PayPal $8.99

I only keep $10 in cash on PayPal. So, whhhooooshhh , $8.99 gone and nothing
to show for it.

It was an 'unauthorized charge ', obviously from my point of view.

PayPal said " Nope. It was authorized. Now go away."

IOW, PayPal gives you 1 try, on a dispute, then they slam the door.

I get it, its all automated. But its crappy automation, IMO.

I also do lots of little transactions on PayPal using my AMEX. So I get a layer
of protection doing that, I believe.

But in the above $8.99 it was take the money and run.

Try calling. If you can actually get through to someone, maybe you can sort it out. I looked at their site for the number, but could not find it. It's probably there, but they don't make it easy to find. Here's the contact numbers that I have. Good Luck!

Welcome to the club. Been there, done that, several years ago, with a smaller "fee" than that. In my book, any company/business doing such a thing, I blacklist it for life. I don't care if they can refund me later. They are out. There are so many sites and options to buy anything online anyway.

I suspect these co's try this tiny dollar nonsense and hope most over look it and don't have the game for the fight. hah !

It was educational to see how PayPal 'works '. I have learned my lesson

All of these big tech companies actually do have customer support phone numbers - they just don't publish them on their websites. They would prefer you to think that there is no other way to contact them except via endless online forms and communications.

Try these searches in google (I won't post the numbers here, in case they change, but just illustrate how to get them):

paypal customer service phone number

amazon customer service phone number

ebay customer service phone number

They all give you a number that works - I've used them when at my wits end with the online process.

Thanks, Stephen . Yes, it takes some patience to get 1/1 support with these sites. I also have lots of experience with Amazon, mostly as a seller.
