|
|
I was reading the forum the other day and noticed a member wanting to set the joystick to operate the fast / slow leslie effect by moving it like the normal Hammond switch. No one had offered a solution but today I manaded to get it working, and I like it!!
Firstly you have to remove the pitchbend off the JS X. It will aslo mean that you cannot use pitchbend while in this set, but I think that people using the drawbars are not using pitchbend. To remove it select:
menu / mixer / tuning and set R1, R2, R3 pitch bend to 0(zero)
Now change the rotary speed selector to the X asis:
mixer / insert FX and tap R1 MOD.
Change Speed SW Select to JS X
Now the speed will toggle with a left / right movement of the joystick.
Remember to save the set!! |

Great tip thanks.
Although I remain less authentic and use one of my EC5 pedals to toggle fast/slow.
Cheers

Got to agree with Karma here... The old Leslie switch was simply a response to the fact that traditional organists were using both feet (pedals and swell) and both hands, so feet couldn't easily toggle the Leslie.
Swallow your pride, task a footswitch to it, and never look back! |
