Can anyone comment on how these tutorials worked out for them. I've narrowed it down to these 2, to learn the whole system and to use as recording workstation. (I know there are lot of other routes one could take, my goal is to learn the Kronos) Anyone else used these?
#1) 7 hours, $149, no sample videos - hard to know if this is a good idea - will look for reviews. german or english.

#2) has 101 level (features and controls) and 201 (implementation) levels. Seems more like teaching. Watched 5 free videos. Better.

costs $144/year (yearly) or $25/mo. Lots of related cool stuff, including a bottomless pit of Logic tutorials (which I don't really need).
I've tried the Korg free videos. Didn't work for me. Too overview-ish. |

There are many free tutorials as well (the ones from Qui Robinez are often mentioned here). And the manuals and the online help. Nobody can learn everything in the Kronos in a month or even six, so give yourself time. |

I have little comment on these. Have 8 yrs Kronos experience, recorded 60 originals, 100% Kronos.
The SEQ +2 minutes intro was clear, patiently explained, but that by itself, is not enough to dive in and compose/record a multi track song. Maybe his next videos provide a solid " how to " from start to finish on SEQ.
SEQ is somewhat an intermediate topic. You have to learn the basics of each mode to be efficient/effective. You might be able to skip sampling- I don't sample { heresy !}.
I wouldn't spend money on mode basics. IMO. Thats something you have to put time in. Learn Global, DISK, and Program modes. This is a necessity.
I would not, as a new owner[ with no Korg experience] , jump into Karma and SEQ. Walk or crawl before you run. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

I've been wondering the same. Just got my Kronos LS, and there's soooooo much to absorb. I'm skeptical about #2 above - the 101 and 201 courses together are only 2 hours total. Either really fast, or really high-level. I am curious about the 7-hour one, though. _________________ Jim Dunne

mostly everyone has varied skills. It would be ideal to find a local K owner who will guide you along based on your goals and keyboard skill.
It would save a lot of time _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8
