Hey guys,

Im struggeling with a setup for live performance.

Currently i have an Korg Kross 2 that i use as midi connected to an Apple with Mainstage.
I need to footswitch to switch between presets ( up & down )

Currently when i attach a foot contoller directly to my Korg kross2 its able to have 1 function, Program up or Down, not both when i use the other input ( pedal/damper )

I need a foot pedal board thats compatible, i.e maybe using Midi-in on the keyboard or direclty connected to USB.

Can anyone advice me a working/compatible footswitch that i can use for changing program up and down ?

Maybe a Korg EC-5 works ?

The Behringer FCB1010 should be able to do this. The Korg EC-5 is not suitable, as it is a 5-way momentary footswitch, intended for Korg arranger keyboads.

Ah thanks, yes ive seen that one before, do you know an alternative thats a bit smaller than this one?

2 (UP/Down) would be enough

The MIDI-Solutions Dual Footswitch Controller plus a dual contact closure pedal, or two pedals, would do this. A cable, between pedal(s) and MIDI Solutions box, would need to be appropriately wired for this. See:

That's weird! I thought you could use both program increase and decrease if you set them. Btw, check out the midi controllers from peak: http://www.peak2005.com/j/ I own the bigger one and it's super ultra reliable, solid build yet lightweight. No usb, standard hardware intended midi, extremely cheap too

Thats an option aswell, very small, but kinda expensive ( 140,- )

Yes you can choose for program up OR down, but only assignable to the foot switch, so only 1 option available.

The device linked seems lightweighted and small, could be an option, thnx !
