I've reloaded the voices successfully as described by Korg but in Program and Combination the left channel is not working - full stereo in phones - puzzling
Can anyone shed some light please

Possibly a connection came loose during the battery replacement procedure?

Thanks for that I'll check but it is odd that the full left and right signals are there in the headphones - it's only the output jacks which are affected

Judging, as much as is possible, from images of the M1R internals, it would appear that the L and R audio signals go first to the headphone jack board, then on to the rear output PCB, so it's possible the loss of signal occurs somewhere between the front and rear of the unit.

Many thanks for that - since your last post I think I've located the problem at the jacks - but most grateful for your help
Best wishes
