I just got my Korg Kronos last Friday and although I tried to read the manual and watch Kronos videos in advance I still felt overwhelmed and somewhat intimidated by the opportunities that the keyboard was giving me. I have had a few keyboards in my day starting with a Roland digital piano a few decades ago. I have been taking piano lessons for a few years and should be fantastic by now but I'm not. I followed up the Roland with a Korg Krome and fell in love with the sounds but had some issues and sent it back and got a Yamaha MOFX8 prior to finally caving and spending some dear money to go back to Korg. I have been struggling a bit to get rolling but some things are becoming clearer to me and after 4 days I can now enjoy the sounds and the ability to adjust the timber/tracks to modify the sound to my tastes. I was having a challenge with the headphone option as I wanted to stop the external sound and listen through the headphones. I was lightly slapped back to thinking logically again by a member to not look for a button or a switch or a check box just simply shut my amp off. Duh, I guess you have to pull yourself out of the manual once and a while and just think. Anyway, I am glad I found the forum and I want to thank everyone in advance that will help me walk and hopefully run sometime in the near future...... |
