Hi all,
glad to be here, I am trying to fix a T3 that I found, after reading and searching I start the repair replacing the battery that was off.
step 2 is to upload the factory sounds on the keyboard, I have a m-audio usb sound interface with midi connection so I tryied to use sysex to upload the file (all settings was ready on the keyboard for receiving data)
the problem is when I am uploading the t2t3pl.SYX downloaded from
http://web.archive.org/web/20130513072421/http://www.korg.co.uk/downloads/tseries/data/t321pl.zip
I get an error about at 25% of the upload and only some sound are uploaded, I am guessing this is a corrupted file or some setting on the midiox software?
when I tried to upload the M1 present I have manage to upload almost 80% of the sounds.
Any advice? is there anyone that have a solid and tested t2t3pl.SYX file or the disk image for the T3?
( I have an old computer with a fdd in order to try upload the data using the floppy on the keyboard)
Thank your reading, greetings from Greece |

I've had a similar issue with SysEx transfers to the M1. The M1 and T3 have a similar architecture.
There is a thread that might be worth reading concerning this issue here:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=103735
My MIDI-Ox SysEx buffer settings, which are quite possibly still the same values as used for the last successful M1 SysEx upload, are currently:
Low Level Input Buffers:
Size 512 bytes
Num 32
Low Level Output Buffers:
Size 65535 bytes
Num 512
