I honestly don't know enough terminology to search for this, and may be using the words incorrectly.

I keep seeing people get that lower end pulsing along by itself while they play the top end. In other words, press a lower key and it repeats automatically, and then play the higher keys normally.

It's important I figure this out due to severe nerve damage on my left side. One of the reasons I bought it, actually.

I've followed the instructions, watched tutorials, and generally played around with it for a while, but I can't get it to work. The closest I've come is the main timbre interfering with the frequency of the arpeggiator on the sub timbre.

I'm a pretty intelligent guy, but I'm just not grasping something here. I don't know if it's a definition I'm misunderstanding or simply a lack of proficiency with the relatively simple menu system.

I do have a Ps-1 pedal (the yellow one, as the Korg demonstrator was using one and I got it for twelve bucks, figuring if I wanted to make the sounds he was making, I might need it) but it's not plugged in yet. Maybe that's the secret?

I also have not installed the update yet, but I don't think that feature was buggy upon release, given all the videos I've seen of it working.

I'm at a bit of a loss, here. If anyone can correct me, I'd appreciate it.

Beyond that, I'm really enjoying this thing.

Okay, the last post hung upon clicking submit. Checked the forum and didn't see it. I had no intention of posting it twice. I do apologize for behaving as if I've never used a forum before.

You need to use a preset that is a "Split." So it will have 1 sound on the left hand and another sound on the right. Then use the menu button #6 in program edit mode. Button #6 contains the settings for the Arp. You can set it to play both left and right sounds or just one of them. The layers are called "Main" and "Sub."

I had a few minutes earlier to try my hand again. I've been in the menus with those settings, and hadn't had a real result.

At that time, I was able to get one program playing on the main timbre, and another automatically playing on the sub timbre, which didn't sound like a program I've heard; almost as if it was just straight off the board.

So, I need to try a few more things. I've only got it working once, and hadn't quite figured out how precisely I did it, because I'd used those settings before.

I have a print-out of the full manual now, and I'll explore it a bit more tomorrow morning and report back. Hopefully I can narrow down what I'm missing, because I'm still not grasping a concept, here.
