I just got my Prologue. I like it a lot, but I think I may have issue with the keys.
The Keys I have on my unit is sending dual action. It triggers when I hit the key and re-trigger the same note when I release the key. I did a test with the Prologue USB midi disconnected from the unit and it plays normal, without re-triggering note. It seems to be midi feedback that is the culprit.
This does not happen when I play via an external midi keyboard.
I tried updating the firmware, factory reset. It didn't change anything.
Anyone out there having the same issue or have found a fix.
Cheers |

It does sound like a feedback loop. Try removing any midi cables attached one by one to find out which signal is coming back in to the synth. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=807494

Turn Local Off. Should be somewhere in the global settings. That will turn off the Prologue's keyboard for controlling the synth but still sent the notes via the MIDI output. It should fix the issue, if it doesn't try repatching your MIDI and draw a flow chart to keep a check on where everything is flowing and avoid loopbacks. _________________ Stuff I'm using: Umm right now, well there's a Volca Drum, a Micro Freak, an ADX-1, a Pulse, a Blofeld, a UNO Drum, KeyStep/Beatstep Pro/Keystep Pro (one of each), a Circuit, a LiveTrak L-12 and this nonsense: The Brief-case as it was about a bit over a year ago (the the complete ridiculous GAS monster collection here)and here |
