I thought I was doing good setting up the touch pads on my Novation to play the chord pads on the Kronos. They communicate on Ch 6. In the Global P2 Controllers/scales Functions assign, I set the Pad1 to Ch. 6 and the CC# to 50 for pad1. On the Novation, set the pad to transmit same CC# on Ch 6. So far so good. I assigned a chord to Pad1 in the combi, hit the pad on the Novation and it triggered the chord! That would be great, but it acts like the sustain pedal is depressed. The only way to retrigger is the touch the chord pad on the Kronos to stop the chord. I have tried toggling the behavior on the Novation from Normal to Toggle without any change. I don't know where to look to change that behavior. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

CC messages don't normally have note-off, only MIDI note data has those. Perhaps that is the issue. Assign MIDI notes that are low down the scale to the Novation and the Kronos pads; notes too low to be played by the Kronos' keybed.

Some thoughts:
1. Is Karma latching the chord on when the pad triggers it. You could check this by using the kronos "on-screen" pads to trigger.
2. Per the previous post you could use MIDI notes rather than CC to in a lower register, or better yet, assigned the pads to a different midi channel and you can use any notes you want (and CCs)
3. Is the pad itself latching rather than momentary?

I'm not familiar with the novation but these are a few things to investigate.

Thanks for the suggestions but still having trouble. I set Global P2 MIDI CC assign to notes C-1 to G-1 and on the Global P1 MIDI, on External2 set the channel to 6 and the note/CC to the C-1 to G-1 range. I set the Novation to send out notes as above. I know the Kronos is getting the signal because if I set it to a higher note, it triggers that note on Ch 6, but when I go down to C-1, no pads trigger. I can play them fine from the Kronos screen.
Thoughts??
