|
|
Hello all,
I got a Korg microSampler to check out.
I've been recording a new pattern using bass, snare, bass drum and hi-hat samples.
To be able to play a melodic bass line and not only a static key using the bass sample I've got to choose the sample number with the bass sound in KB.MD.SMPL (Keyboard Mode Sample No.) via -> [EDIT] button -> “PTRN SEQ” -> KB.MD.SMPL and switch to "Keyboard" mode.
Now I want to record another melodic idea in the same pattern with another sound that needs keyboard mode - for ex. some piano, clavinet etc.
How can I do that? I've saved the bass, snare, bass drum, hi-hat pattern, but now if I change the KB.MD.SMPL (Keyboard Mode Sample No.) to a piano sound I'm loosing the bass.
Am I really restricted to record/define only one single sound per pattern in Keyboard mode? |

Resample your bass line, turning it into a sample that you play with one key in sample mode.
Now keyboard mode is free to record a new melody. |
