A tempo = Resume the normal speed
Accelerando = Becoming gradually faster
Adagio = slowly
Allargando = Broadening out, often with an increase of tone
Allegro      Lively = reasonably fast
Andante = At a moderate pace
Brillante = Sparkling, brilliant
Brio = Vigour
Cantabile = In a singing style
Capo = The beginning
Con moto = With movement
Con sordini = With the mutes
Crescendo = Becoming gradually louder
Da Capo = From the beginning
Dal Segno = From the sign
Decrescendo = Becoming gradually softer
Dolce = Sweetly
Espressivo = With expression, with feeling
Forte (f) = Loud
Fortissimo (ff) = Very loud
Forzando = With a strong accent
Giocoso = Gay, merry
Grave = Very slow
Grazioso = Gracefully
largo = Slow and stately, broad
Leggiero = Lightly
Lento = Slowly
Maestoso = Majestically
Marcato = Marked, accented
Meno = Less
Meno mosso = Less movement
Mezzo forte (mf) = Moderately loud
Mezzo piano = Moderately soft
Misterioso = Mysteriously
Ped = Depress the sustaining pedal
Perdendosi = Dying away
Pesante      = Heavily
Piacevole = Pleasing
Pianissimo = Very soft
Pizzicato = Plucked
Poco a poco = Little by little
Presto = Very quick
Pretissimo = As fast as possible
Ritenuto (rit) = Hold back
Staccato = Short detached
Tranquillo = Quietly
Vivace = Lively, quick.
