I've been getting a loud crackle/pop through my Bose Mod, 2 L1 PA system and I notice that the level indicator next to the mic knob flashes Green/red in conjunction with the Crackle/pop.

I've never had a properly functioning level indicator on this keyboard, but the harmoniser is working okay as long as I have the mic volume and harmony knobs cranked up full.

Re. the rear trim pot, does anyone know if this is a generic pot that can be easily replaced, or is it something specifically Korg?

I'm taking it in on Monday to my local dealer and I'm hoping the repair guys there can fix it without having to order a specific part from Korg because who knows how long that could take.

PS: there's a little light, I think, next to the trim pot knob on the back of the Pa3x. Is this supposed to light up at all?

Thanks very much, duby. I'll see if the local guys have that part in stock first. If not, then I'll get on to Syntaur right away.

Really appreciate your help.

Best, Giner.

The part was around 6 dollars US plus shipping cost was about 15 Canadian. I held onto the part while I tried different things. Unplugging and plugging back in seemed to work but then would drop out again. Using phantom power with condenser mic seemed to work but the problem would return. Reloaded all software didn't fix the issue. Tried all the mic settings as well. Found a guy on line would advertised micro soldering. I removed the board and took it to him. Had it soldered for 25$. Costed me 50$ and problem is now resolved.
