I've been taking some time to help fill in the blanks of my knowledge of the Kronos and actually RTFM on programming sounds.

I'm absolutely blown away by how concise, understandable and well-written the manuals are. The last synth manual I read was for the Kurzweil 2500 and it was... it was hard to make it through. I mean, things mostly made sense (except FUNS, we won't get into that) but I notice little bits of the writers bleeding through with bits of humor throughout the manual.

Things like If your goal is a completely pristine sound, set the Driver’s Bypass to On. Otherwise, let it rip!

I'm very impressed, especially as someone who used to assist people write technical manuals... Well done Korg!

Yes, it is Dan. He also is very helpful in this forum. I read some parts of the manual very precisely for making PCG Tools and only could find very few small mistakes.

Not only the user manuals containing information for both starters (operations guide) and expert users (parameter guide), but also the MIDI system exclusive documents. Without his help PCG Tools would either take much longer to create.

I agree, the Korg manuals are the best. I've read as well as written quite a few technical manuals so I know the incredible amount of effort it takes to create a well written, detailed manual. Great job Dan.
