Hi,
I'm wanting to select a preset sound for use on timbre B in a key split patch.
Is this possible or must I program Timbre B from scratch?
Thanks Mike |

You have to use copy parameter. This post a few below yours tells you how.

This was the reply I got from Korg when I was trying to do it.
With the KingKORG, you can use completely different sounds for Timbre A and B but they need to be programmed that way. What you could do, for example, is start with “068 MG Bass” then set its “VoiceMode” setting to “Split” and use the “Copy Timbre” command to copy one of the Timbre settings (A or B) from “109 Strings” into Timbre B of this program. |

it shouldnt sound so confusing… Its just in the menu all the way at the back of the list "copy timbre" select a program, sometimes it will ask to specify A or B when relevant. you will then select if it will take up the current programs A or B timbre spot. enjoy. _________________ 2xds-10, ds10+, m01 |

|

Call me a moron but I cna't seem to figure out how to do a simple split sound on the KingKorg.
I think it's my lack of understanding how exactly it works. I've tried to do it the way some of the other people have suggested but I can't make it work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance as always!
