The CD arrived in the post today.
I'm not going to say this to be nice just because I know you or anything like that. I want to give you my honestly opinion without any influence.
Which is.... WOW, and I mean WOW !!!!
It's been a very long time since I bought a CD I could stick on and listen to straight through without skipping a few tracks. And I mean a VERY long time. This is sooooo good, and I'm honestly not just saying that because I know you.
This soooooo gets my two thumbs up seal of approval. The fact that I do know you makes this even better. I'm so happy for you Susan.
Best wishes.
James. |

Hi Stephen,
Long time no see! I'm glad you're still kickin'. I'm really happy that you like my music. Yours is also excellent. Have you made any more CDs??
Daz - thank you too, but really- you should be talking like a Yank by now instead of a Brit. hehe.
Since I was here last we had to put my father in a nursing home. He has severe Alzheimer's. That has been very traumatic for my family and continues to be. Fortunately he really likes it there - there is plenty of acitivity and lots of people to interact with which he just loves. For myself, I'm most happy that I was able to give him my CD while he was able to enjoy it. He was an excellent musician himself back in the day.
So I haven't been socializing too much lately but HELLO to everyone. I hope you are all doing well.
I did manage to revise my site if you would like to go take a peek. Lots of pretty art on there. I had fun doing this one and everyone seems to love it. Thank goodness for art and music - they really soothe the soul.

....love those fractals
Hope you will keep up your strength and do not forget to make that much needed space for yourself, particulary in this situation you need it most of all.
Thinking of you!

Susan, you know I have been where you are. Thanksgiving is upon us and I know how much you love your Papa. Particularly because you are extremely giving, loving soul, I very humbly give this advice.....The most loving thing you can do is : Take care of the care-taker.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. You are a good daughter! _________________ “I’m into scales right now.”

Thank you Bear. Your information in the emails has really been helpful. Glad you like the visuals.
Hi Jazzy, I know you went through it too. I can appreciate what you went through with a different perspective now. Thanks for your kind words.
I will do my best to follow your suggestions. We are hanging in there.

Thanks Very much for that interview Susan.
I found it very interesting and enjoyable - Steve sounds like a really nice guy to work with as well as very good at what he does
- good solid tips for pre mastering and tracking.
I'll be getting your CD when I can - sounds extremely good,
and the demo mp3 is nicely done as a piece -
gives the listener a good flavor of whats on the CD - I like very much what I hear.
I wish you the very best with it.
Peace

You are right about Steve. He is very professional yet has a great sense of humor and is just so nice and easy to work with. I loved working with him and will do again.

Hi Susan, Yep...still kickin' in fact, I'm still kickin' it.

We've been so busy this last summer, and fall that I've barely recorded anything. There are a couple of new things, and a CD in the works.
Jody and I lost her dear Father this last summer, and he was sick for nearly a year. That takes it's toll, and I know that you know exactly what I mean.
Take care of yourself, and know that our prayers are with you, and your Dad.

Hi Trevor! Nice to see you again. Thanks for saying hello. I hope you and Julie have gone to a pro recording studio! I still have chills from your music.
Hey Stephen. I'm not sure who is having more fun at your gigs, the band or the people. That's just great. Please give Jody my condolences. I hope she is doing better now.
Cheers,
Susan |
