I just managed to do a quick test!
It is indeed writing as a STEREO sample and NOT as 2 mono samples when you import a stereo WAV into the sampler.
This means that the engine has been upgraded to handle stereo files perfectly and that may be why i think i m hearing a way better stereo image on it than on 4x with split samples (no more sample delay between the OSCs i guess).
Also that way the polyphony should be 160 notes no matter if the multisample used is stereo or mono as only 1 instance of the engine is being assigned for each note played.
That is a test for another day though! (I can create a very complex (and useless but we don't care as it is for a test only) sound to max the polyphony to count the voices in both "ALL MONO" and "ALL STEREO" use cases.) _________________ ~~~The best keyboard for any player is the one that fits his/her needs!~~~
