Apart from the styles that come with the KORG Pa5x, are there any other bonus styles available? I’ve just recently bought the KORG and wondered if I was missing out on extra styles available from KORG?

yes, you can find a lot (hundreds of styles) on the korg bonusware site which can be found here:
https://www.korg.com/us/features/arrangers/bonusware/

They are for the pa4x but you can easily use them on the pa5x and use the improved sounds or limiter section to spice it up.

There are various styles over there ranging from Taylor Swift till Bruno Mars, but also golden oldies from Burt Bacharach, the list goes on and on.

In one of my videos I've showed a couple of the free bonusware styles
cover style list

bonus style: The man - Taylor Swift
bonus style: Don't go breakin my heart - Elton John
bonus style: I'll make it up to you - Imagine Dragons
bonus style: Please me - Cardi B. & Bruno Mars
bonus style: Ready for it - Taylor Swift
bonus style: Breathe - Jax Jones
bonus style: My life - Imagine Dragons
bonus style: Price tag - Jessie J

They are in the video below:

Thank you so much Qui. This is a massive help to me.

Actually it’s mainly through your inspiring YouTube KORG pa5x tutorial videos, which I have subscribed to, that I made the ultimate decision to purchase the KORG pa5x, rather than upgrade my Yamaha Genos to the Genos 2.

I shall investigate the link you provided and no doubt will be kept busy!

Hi.
Here is a thread by Anthony Sharmman that may be of some interest too:

Hi,

Dopamine Set 2.6.
I used to have these on my PA4X and they filled up all the user sections with hundreds of styles and pads and they are all free.

What I find really strange is that one Korg Forum Member actually criticised these Dopamine styles (the mind boggles) when one young French guy spent days on end of his own free time compiling this selection of very good styles. The worst you could do is download them and find some way to view the files to see if there is anything of use to you.

Brilliant. Thank you for sharing the link. I’ll certainly give it a go.

The best one’s that worked for me were the KORG bonusware which Qui recommended. So many and really great.

https://www.korg.com/us/features/arrangers/bonusware/

The Dopamine set didn’t work at all. I could download them but the sty files won’t show up on the KORG Pa5x.

Hi,
I used to have all the Dopamine 2.6 styles (that came from all previous PA models) loaded into my PA4X so I guess they can be converted to PA5X just like the PA4X styles can. There are also many sounds and pads.

Yes, I downloaded the Pa4 Musikant 'pack'.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was from a thread somewhere here at the forum.
Converted / installed it at Pa5X without any problem. (The .kst file contains 13 userbanks with a lot of styles).

Thanks Gunner! I have an old zip file from the Pa4x, which I'll try to convert and load.

The file I have is named Pa4X MUSIKANT v2.SET, and after convert it's Pa4X MUSIKANT v2.KST.
13 Folders (Banks) with total of 593 .stg files.
If you get any problem convert, just pm me and I can share it via mail or WeTrasfer.

You don't have to convert and load just only Styles without custom samples !
After conversion to media storage , browse players to that converted KST folder , explore Styles and load only anything you need to a created
folder with name in your Pa5X User Styles area.

You can also work KST folder in your computer , inside SOUND folder create a new folder named for instance Musicant Styles , cut and paste
all .STG files of rest 13 folders in that folder , delete all the rest 13 folders and then load in your Pa5X Musicant Styles folder.

Hope this helps
